Jawahar Farmhouse

Jawahar Farmhouse is a large suburban house on the outskirts of Bangalore, where the designed landscape acts as an urban retreat to rejuvenate one’s body and soul. A mix of sculptural landscape elements, large trees and natural materials connect to both the excitement of city life and the tranquil repose at the farm. There are four main spaces—a large gathering space out front, a more intimate and relaxing space at the back, an open swimming pool, and a large indoor water court with a series of floating seating panels. The water court forms the central focus of the house, and is the highlight of the project.
