Quiet Retreat

Quiet Retreat is a farmhouse perched on the edge of a ridge overlooking a valley that opens out into the Arabian Sea. It was designed as a space for family gatherings and weekend excursions. The designed landscape takes advantage of the natural topography of the site to capture and enhance the stunning views from the site. To reinforce the close connection to nature engendered by the site, we retained most of the existing native trees and incorporated primarily natural materials, such as the local laterite, granite and wood.
